Think this beer sums up what English IPA’s should be–very drinkable and satisfying with a very crisp bitterness that isn’t overpowering. They are made with very hard (high mineral content) water that is typical of the style’s birthplace, Burton-Upon-Trent in the central-west part of England. This is a bit of a lost style these days in North America with the prevalence of the excessively hopped IPA’s brewed on this continent.
