This year’s Whisky release is a 5-year-old Malted Rye. Whisky. In Canada it is required to be aged a minimum of 3 years in a wooden barrel. During this time many flavours are extracted from the barrel, contributing complexity and colour to the spirit.
- Fruity and sweet up front, with a rougher and spicy Rye finish.
- Hybrid flavour profile between a Scottish style Whisky and Canadian Rye.
- Great on it’s own with a little water or ice, but can also be used in a variety of cocktails such as a Whisky sour, Old Fashion, or Manhattan.
